My second grade teacher handed out a sticky note when the students were mishaving. She wouldn't stop the class to deal with the problem, she would pull off a sticky note and hand it to him/her. They knew they needed to talk to her during recess.
I think it would be a good idea to keep a log of that somewhere, especially if he/she is a reapeat offender
