For those days where the SMART board isn't working... or you are having some kind of technolgy problem.. Have a back up set of plans.
Maybe not for each day, but for maybe for each unit.
Yesterday, they came to fill a work order for a new SMART board, which is great!... except... they did it right in the morning when the class uses the SMART board the most.
My host teacher had no idea that they were coming today so she had to rethink all her lessons for something they could do without the board.
I learned it would definately be helpful to have an idea of what to do (that doesn't invovle technology) for those crazy mornings!
