Candid Photos
After expectations are discussed
While students are working, for example during work stations, take candid photos of 3-5 students following the expectations. Quickly load the photos on to the computer and pull them onto the SMART board. Together have the students talk about how that student is meeting the expectations.
It is also a great way for the students to learn their classmates names.
Also, model what a work station looks like by having one group clean up after they share their works while the other students listen and look from the carpet.
